Links - Reader or spot detection based, used to gather speed and travel time information.
VMS - Variable Message Signs, used to report advisory messages to motorists visually.
CCTV - Closed Circuit Television, used to visually monitor roadways.
HAR- Highway Advisory Radio, used to report advisory messages to motorists over AM radio.
